LVS 510 is inovated model of our smaller forwarder which replaced our LVS 5 model. This forwarder is intended for forwarding of harvested material mainly from thinning – i.e. logs with maximum diameter of 50 cm. Loading space has been designed for hauling of 2-5 meter long logs. Loading limit of the unit is 5 tons. Loading space capacity is 5 m3. Total weight of the machine is less than 10 tons, and therefore the machine has been classified as an ecologically friendly product.

The vehicle is powered with Cummins engine with output of 57 kW. Absolutelly new is hydrostatic transmission system from Sauer Danfoss. ASC (anti-skid system control) ensuring process of 8-wheel drive, especially in difficult conditions (so-called hydraulic lock of all wheels) is used for this vehicle. This system gives LVS 510 ability to pass through difficult terrain.

Hydraulic crane enables loading of logs in the loading space of LVS 510 without causing damage to root swellings of the remaining trees and terrain during forwarding and it also prevents dirtying of the forwarded wood. LVS is an ideal vehicle for use of short-wood harvesting method. There are used Mowi P25, Mowi P30 and Moheda M40 cranes according to customer wish.

New tiltable cabin provide more space for operators and perfect view outside. Swivel seat enable forward and reverse driving, without having to turn the vehicle around.
