The forwarder is a true hard worker, universally useful for concentrating timber in forest stands of all ages. Forwarder is designed to meet the needs of modern forestry, where changes in forest management often take place dynamically and flexible response is necessary.
The LVS 520 uses components from the best and most reliable suppliers. The Perkins internal combustion engine meets the latest Stage 5 emissions standard, and provides the forwarder with convenient power with plenty of reserve. We use Danfoss hydraulics, which, with the Plus1 control system, take the ride and handling characteristics of the forwarder up several notches. Since the beginning, we have been using Swedish hydraulic arms by Cranab, which excel in their durability and excellent operational properties. The drive of the forwarder is unrivalled in the small forwarder category. The forwarder has differentials with mechanical locking on all 8 wheels. The rate of climb even when loaded is, thanks to the excellent distribution, incredible. The load capacity of the LVS 520 is 6 tonnes. The forwarder is very compact – only 2.1 m wide, less than 3 m high. Logs from 2 to 5 metres long can be loaded on the loading area. Users appreciate the symmetrical distance between the front and rear axles from the centre pivot, thanks to which the LVS 520 has great traction, especially in thinning operations. The comfortable, spacious, 180° turnable cabin with excellent view is a great advantage.
